Law on technical requirements for products: Any company or person holding boilers and / or facilities belonging to the category with an increased risk must have a contract for maintenance with licensed company.

Chapter Five
TECHNICAL SURVEILLANCE OF FACILITIES an increased risk
 
Art. 36. (Amended - SG. 93, 2002) The maintenance, repair and conversion facilities with increased risk are made by persons who have received permission from the chairman of the State Agency for Metrology and technical supervision or authorized by its officials from Directorate General Inspection State Technical Supervision.
 
Art. 49. (1) (Amended - SG. 93, 2002) for non-statutory requirements in this chapter and regulations of Art. 31 inspectors from the Directorate General "Inspection State Technical Supervision" following coercive administrative measures:
1. to issue mandatory prescriptions written to owners, employers, officials and other persons;
2. to provide written suspension of operation of enterprises and / or equipment with increased risk.
(2) Failure to dispose of halting the operation of plant or facility with increased danger they stayed with the assistance of authorities of the Ministry of Interior and the Directorate for National Construction Supervision of the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works.
(3) coercive administrative measures may appeal under the Administrative Procedure Act. The complaint does not suspend implementation of the measures.
 
Chapter Six

Art. 55. .. (Amended and supplemented. - SG. 93, 2002) for default or breach of art. 36 individuals are punishable by a fine of up to 10 000 BGN and legal persons and sole traders - with a penalty in the same amount.
